change of layout...

I am currently researching whose layout this is and will be updating this info soon!

It just appealed to me for some reason.

It is based on the Nebula layout!

I will update this post as soon as I find out who did this layout. Of course, I may also change some colors and font size here and there, etc.

Can I ask you something about layouts?

I've been on the same one basically since I started this journal. Not that I really have much desire to change it, I can't even remember where I go to change it if I want.

But one thing is bothering me. See back ages ago I had a different website for my business. And now there is still a link at the top of my journal under the title to a site that is dead. I've spent more time than I should trying to find where I can delete it or turn it off or whatever and have been unable to do so.

Do you have any advice or insight for me to remove that link?

Okay, I shall try to answer this...
I think it is that you have an early S2 style or (maybe S1 style...) and many of those came with an option to have a "website" as part of your navigation.

The navigation is the header that goes to the friends' page or archive or profile etc.
You probably looong ago chose this as part of that navigation option.

S1 is the older style system they had from back in the day.
It still is available and you might actually have never changed from it.

I would think whether this is a S2 or S1 system, you can go to the "journal style" heading and find "website" link in your navigation and get rid of it. Or change it to your business lj or your favorite site...
And I am soooo going to try to find out this stuff firsthand.

Part 2 of response coming up.

Go to Customise your theme, and you should have this in your "text" area. You should find on the Navigation drop down menu a website box??
My thinking is also if you change styles even if you are in the current "S2" system you might just get rid of the website link???

If you are in S1, go to S2 system and choose a new style, and the website should be gone. I think. If you get to "customise your theme" and it mentions switching to s2, well then thereyago!

If you are still at an impasse, please drop by and ask for some more help!
Keep me posted.

There are a lot of styles to choose from!
If you need anymore advice --especially on styles and such or stylemakers, look no further--I may not be a CSS expert, but I have a plethora of referrals for wonderful styles!
