Oh, wow. I love how this moves between the very particular and prosaic, and the very atmospheric and elegiac; it all fits together really well. It is difficult to be there and not want to dig - that whole section is particularly awesome.
This is beautifully written, lyrical and compelling. I especially liked how you made the encounters through time so fresh (I've done it in another fandom; it's harder than it looks). I really like your take on Merlin, how hopeful he is in the face of overwhelming odds and how how he comes across as adult, rather than adolescent. I particularly like the mythic qualities, the sections titled "Under" and "The Other Woman". I found these to be particularly interesting and in "The Other Woman", the blend between the prosaic and the supernatural reminded me - without suggesting derivation - of Neil Gaiman. I look forward to reading more of your work.
I read this comment in a public library and the involuntary noises it caused mean I can never go back.
This is a wonderful compliment - it assauges a lot of my worries about certain parts of the fic, so thank you for that, and it's always interesting to hear people's take on different characterisations. Thanks very much.

This is amazing, and painful, and gorgeously written.
