So apparently I'm into the Merlin fandom now, and it's all because of this Hollywood AU, which is basically the hottest thing I've ever read, ever, and has broken my brain.

...who wants to beta my epic Heroes crossover/AU?

recs, the affair tape archive, pleas, with wormes he warres

At some point I'll send you the hysterical capslocked summary I gave Andrea over AIM. It's basically angst and porn and angst and inside jokes and angst and porn and Claude.

you know what fandom you SHOULD be in? Criminal Minds.

You know why?

because this and this is slash that's just asking to happen. don't believe me? just look at this . flirting with him by accusing him of flirting with girls? THE SUBTEXT IS KILLING ME.

other good reasons to love the fandom: there's a power lesbian. and she may or may not have a thing for her coworker.

also? quirky tech girls?. they're kinda hot.

......so, uh. yeah. spontaneous picspam much? YOU SHOULD JOIN ME IN THE REVELRY THAT IS CRIMINAL MINDS.

it's like crime-scene drama meets teen-angst drama. you'll love it. no really. I promise.

DUDE. this Merlin thing is like the plague, it came in the form of medieval rats and is slowly taking down my flist!

clearly, it is time for Wikipedia and youtube. this is like ASKING to get the clap! (but the kind of clap that retroactively brings more porn, so its not like i can complain.)

Apparently people are describing it as on-screen badfic. Those people are entirely right, except that badfic probably has a bigger budget. However! It has Anthony Head being evil, the cast all try so hard you feel bad holding the dialogue against them and -- there's no way I can stress this last part enough -- it's really, really homoerotic.

Kind of like Supernatural, but with swordfighting where you'd expect the misogyny to be.

Go on. You know you want to.

If it helps, at least thirty per cent of the cast were bred in a lab by a modelling agenty. I would try and like, do an actual primer for you, but the most coherency I can muster is "there are these people, right? And they have these collarbones and, and, and nnnghhsadsnkmsfk."
