There was a soft knock on Sam's door.

"It's open," Sam called.

Meg walked in, a foil-covered plate in her hand. "Hey," she said with a small smile. "I made sugar cookies..." Her smile fell and she set the plate aside before moving towards him. "What's wrong, Sam?"

"Nothing," Sam said, setting his beer bottle aside. "Cookies sound great though."
