Thank you! I enjoyed writing 'denied'. I could've gone with the obvious sexual connotation, but I found this more amusing.

You seem to have forgotten the closing bold tag.

Poor Slag. He was denied! Slag's reaction was rather cute. *pets Slag* You are so cute!

Strangely, I've never considered this pairing. It works so well though.

This was depressing. I love how they decided to split their loyalties like that.

*is confused* None of it's bolded... Originally, it was supposed to be, but lj doesn't like me any more than it likes other people.

Slag can be quite cute when he needs to be. He wasn't too happy though - he wanted a fight, dang it!

It came out of the left field, for sure. I'd never thought of it until I read that quote and realized that it was something both Smokescreen and Swindle would say ( ... )

*stares* Well, now it isn't. Earlier though, the prompts were bolded, as well as the last two ficlets.

It's like that time I posted the first chapter of Begin Again. It was fine at first, then all of a sudden everything was in italics.

I wanted to explain their split loyalties, because they both strike me as the type that the war is nothing more than a job for. Just something to make money off of.

They would see it that way, wouldn't they? Like Perceptor might see the war as little more than a learning experience. Or Wheeljack might see it as a playground to test his new inventions on (because would a peaceful society really tolerate his many, many explosions?), and Red Alert might see it as an opportunity to be remembered as more than just That glitchy mech.

... Makes you wonder if any of them are fighting for the same reasons Megatron and Optimus are.
