Bunny Farms Contest Thingy!

I'll be the first to admit that I'm very much not pleased with this.  Of course, that could be because it was originally supposed to be a part of a larger story, but I'm afraid I've run out of time.  I won't have time tomorrow - *glances at time* today - to finish it off, and it does elaborate on the bunny so....  This bunny was originally spawned ( Read more... )

“We won’t let you go, promise. No matter what they say, you’re ours now, sparkling, we won’t just throw you out.”

Have you ever heard the song You'll Be in my Heart by Phil Collins? Because it fits this part so perfectly!

“They’ve never even seen anything else like him! Nobody has a clue what he’ll be like - two opposing sets of programs are there. Two completely different goals. He won’t be stable, Jazz. Better to just do the kinder thing now and shut him down.”

Shame on you, Turbocharge! Parents are supposed to love their children unconditionally. Not that very many do but they're supposed to!

I wonder if anyone ever tried to study the sparkling. They must have, if no one had ever seen anything like him. I doubt Jazz would have allowed them to, though. And can I just say that I love the thought of him being Jazz's sparkling?

Not to long afterward, the pump stutters to a stop, and the young Cybertronian delving into the insides of the mech watches attentively.Perceptor didn't understand the consequences of what he was ( ... )

No, I hadn't. I'm listening to it now... And you're right, it does fit. Awesome.

And can I just say that I love the thought of him being Jazz's sparkling? He's not really all that bad - I think he's just not quite as open-minded as Jazz. And, in my mind, he did come to love little 'Ceptor... Just not quite as much as Jazz. If their situations had been reversed, he definetly would have brought it up ( ... )

I actually had this open, ready for me to reply, while I was talking with you. But I got distracted by... well, talking to you. And forgot 'til now. Now, when I should be sleeping. But instead I'll reply to this now. Right now.

He's not really all that bad - I think he's just not quite as open-minded as Jazz. And, in my mind, he did come to love little 'Ceptor... Just not quite as much as Jazz. If their situations had been reversed, he definetly would have brought it up.

Even those who claim to hate their children, really love them. Even if only a little.

Err...Good question. Maybe, I don't really know. The whole 'Jazz is Perceptor's creator!' thing appeared when I was starting to descripe the parent who would live - then it occured to me that Jazz and Perceptor have black paint in the same places, and that they have a (vaguely) similar helm design. So I ran with it. ...Would have made the other creator Prowl, but I wanted to kill the other creator off.I am glad you ran with it. Perceptor totally needs to be related to Jazz. And ( ... )

It's the ones who honestly don't care that you have to watch out for.

I am glad you ran with it. Perceptor totally needs to be related to Jazz. And Prowl gets killed enough in canon.

It was a fun idea to write... *pats Prowl* He does, doesn't he?

I wonder if it will ever develop fully. Or will he always be lacking? Never able to understand that he can and cannot do while in search of knowledge.

... Is it safe for him to go to school? Jazz might be afraid Perceptor's 'secret' will get out.

...I'd answer these questions, but that would be telling. *is working on the sequel... and about five other things*

Jazz: "That does mean you had to kill him!"
Kirin: "Actually, Perceptor killed him."
Jazz: *growls* "You can't prove that!* *sweeps evidence under rug*

Norie: *raises hand* I can.
Jazz: But you won't. *begs* You won't, will you?
Norie: ...I'll think on it.
Jazz: Nooooooo!

How far will Jazz go to protect Perceptor? If this happens ( ... )

Wow. Just wow.
I suppose I should be sorry for Turbocharge but strangely, I'm not. Instead, I'm more worried for Perceptor.
Prowl is bound to discover the truth sooner or later, with or without Jazz's help. As for Jazz, if he knows it's Perceptor who killed 'Charge, are his feelings for the microscope going to change?
I really hope you'll write a sequel.

I haven't managed to make myself feel sorry for Turbocharge either, despite the fact that he didn't really do anything to deserve death... Guess I just feel too sorry for Perceptor and Jazz.

Considering that there's an extension on the contest...I hope to get it done for that.

Does this have a title? I'm posting the list of contest entries on Sunday, but I thought I'd make the list now. And I don't know what to call this one.

*winces and glares at fic* No, I'm afraid it doesn't. Thus far I've refered to it in my head as 'that bunny farm fic', which is probably not what you're looking for. I'll consider it and get back to you before the days up, kay?
