In which I blatantly lie about my posting frequency to ask a very important question

Do I want to be that fangirl and download THIS from audible.com for listening on my drive to Philly this weekend?

I'm not usually the type of fan that has to devour everything that a character/actor/writer has ever done.  But I have to say, about this, I AM CURIOUS.

I like Elmore Leonard. A lot. Part of what sucked me in so thoroughly to Justified was that it has his stamp all over it.

Download! Because I'd like to hear what you think.

All I really wanted was validation for my decision. :P

Love his writing, but the reader is very important! I had to turn back the last audio book because the reader's voice drove me absolutely crazy!

The reader on this one seems to be okay. I'm not wild about his Raylan (I skipped a head to check it out) but you gotta be versatile when it's just one dude doing all the voices. Of course, no one will ever match Tim Olyphant's voice. I could listen to that business ALL DAY LONG.

This is more about me wanting to read the book, but only really having time for audio right now.

I literally just downloaded the book on my Kindle a week ago and read it in a day. Would you believe I actually squee-ed when Raylan was introduced? I have to say though...I think I like my TV Raylan a little better. The book was is awesome...but he seems a bit more dopey.

I also just read Fire in the Hole...and I kind of wish I had read it before and been a fan, because they literally took some of his passages word by word. Really the only big difference was Boyd and Winonna but everything else was minor changes.

Awesome. I'm excited for a quick and fun read. The audio book is something like Five hours or so. So if I listen to it to and from work tomorrow and on my way to where I'm going, I should get it finished! :D
