That scene when Iceland and Norway first meet was adorable. Seriously, super cute.

I love how you weave in the theme of baking through the entire thing to use it to illustrate the development of their relationship *3* It's a really cool idea and I think you pulled it off well.

Thank you. I'm a huge fan of repetitive themes and they pop up in quite a few of my fics. I'm glad that you enjoyed this one :D (the scene where Iceland and Norway first meet took me ages to get right, I must've re-written it a dozen times).

THIS, uggh, sdflkjsdfl. I loved this. First I love the part where Ice comes to understand why he and Nor are put in dresses; that has so much historical implication to it and I love anything and anyone who recognizes it. Second the relationships here and the way they play off each other are incredible and subtle but still spot on. The whole pace and the way the bread goes through is all fantastic. ♥

Thank you, I'm glad that you enjoyed it :)

I find it difficult to understand how so many in the fandom completely miss or misinterpret the obvious status-indicators throughout Hetalia and I too love stumbling across others who do recognise them.

Repetitive themes are one of my favourite fic devices, they're an easy way to move things along and represent time changes (and I learnt more about bread writing this quick little thing then I ever guessed there was to know).

Thanks heaps for reading and commenting, I appreciate it.
