Ooooh! I think I'll look into those films as well. Thanks for the tip! :D I did like Legolas somewhat... but I do understand what you mean by not liking him. I mean, in comparison to Aragorn, he is a fucking baby. :P But he's good here and there, but he's just a pretty boy really (or rather, Orlando Bloom is), but Viggo/Aragorn, now that's a real man! *rawr* ;)
I find M. Mortensen quite handsome as well. :3 Very bright eyes in a darker sort of face; striking. <3 But in the books isn't Aragorn supposed to be even older than they make the actor look? And Liv Tyler is absolutely beautiful in those movies.
They don't really cover it in the films that I remember, but I like Eowyn's happy ending with Faramir. :3
Also, word of advice-- if you were planning a Lord-of-the-Rings watch-a-thon... DON'T. We did it at my friend's birthday, when the last movie had just come out, and we fell asleep halfway through Two Towers. It's WAY too much Epic all at once, please trust me on this. ; 3 ;
I haven't read the books myself, but I'm glad Eowyn got a happy ending. :)
I don't think we'll be watching all three movies without a break for food etc. But we'd be starting early in the day, so there will be no sleeping. And I'll crank up the volume real loud! XD
"What is it with me and older men? Huh? What's the deal here?!"
*COUGH COUGH* XD XD
Other than that... I have no special opinion on Viggo. Haven't seen him in enough movies. But I don't dislike him. It's like with Keanu, I guess. I approve of your attraction but personally can't say neither bu nor bä. ;)
It was strange sitting there watching the movie last night. I know how it ends, I've seen it plenty of times, and yet I'm like "OMG are you even thinking of leaving Arwen you son of a... I want you to kiss her some more!"
But I guess this attraction is a little bit different than Keanu. It's not like I'm fantasizing of kissing Viggo (perhaps the character Aragorn, but... no, not even that, I love what he and Arwen have too much), it's just that I adore everything about him/Aragorn in the movie and I feel a huge respect for him and his work. Argh.
It's hard to explain, but I'm sure you totally understand what I'm trying to say here. :) ♥ ♥
