Also, did anyone read about LJ-talk in the most recent LJ News post? Anyways, I downloaded the client for it but I don't know if that was such a good idea. I'm actually leaning towards only using GTalk altogether, and downloading yet another chatprogram goes against that pretty much. :P Still, MSN has a lot of people on it that don't use GT. Although I like GTalk, and really love its file transfer, I think the interface looks too Spartan. I know that's what made Google the biggest, but in a chat program I want a little bit more, somehow...

I agree that MSN is too popular: because too many of my friends are using it, I keep using it as well. Vicious cycle! Argh...

So for now, I'll just keep using them both.

Have you tried changing the settings for the chat windows? They have a few themes at least... All you can change in MSN is the window color. :P But what I really hate about MSN is that you can't have cursive, bold or underlined for just one word, then everything becomes like that! In GT, you have much more control, even though spartan. And I like that GT is adfree.
