I love this, it's a really creative use of the prompt. The mention of the puffin and the comparison to Iceland himself is wonderful. And, as mentioned above, his interactions with other countries, and also his own people...and his puffin. Most of all I love Iceland's character portrayal.

The historical factor makes this all the more awesome.

I finished reading this a couple of days ago. I didn't post a comment at the time because I wanted to give an elaborate overview citing reasons why I LOVE THIS SO MUCH; but I couldn't come up with anything decent. Nevertheless...

Thank you for this! When I submitted the prompt, I was almost positive the resulting fic would be categorized under crack. Obviously, I was wrong--and am I ever so glad I was wrong. This is way better than what I had expected. Incorporating the missing bubble was very creative. And you even gave us a short background story for the puffin! It was especially cute, to say the least. What a nice treat for all of us!
Also, I adore how you wrote Iceland's character. His reactions towards the given situations (especially the scene with the carton of milk) were the highlight of this fic, I believe.

I really enjoyed reading this! I don't know how else I could express my gratitude. But once again, thank you very much.

Phewwww now I can finally breathe I mean glad you liked it! XD I thought of sort of mixing some of your first prompt into it, the one about Iceland's economy, and that's where the bubble -idea came from.

Btw: coincidentally I wrote this fic during my stay in Iceland.
