Grandefather

My aunt sent along this picture of my grandefather today. I love it. It looks so much like him, and yet... not. More relaxed, cooler, younger, obviously. He passed away several years ago from a brain tumor, and I miss him. Was kind of a jolt to get the picture unexpectedly, but I love it. Need to get it printed out nicely so I can frame it.

If your aunt still has the original, a photo place can probably do a very high-quality copy/enlargement for you, better than a printout from a scan.

Oooh, thank you for the suggestion! I was going to get my dad to print it out for me (he has super fancy photography printers), but cutting out the scanning step would probably improve quality. Thank you!

I have a very similar picture of my grandpa, leaning against a truck and smoking in a very similar pose.
