I love Alexander... my hallmates and I were reading the book as a bedtime story the other day. sorry to hear that you had one of those type of days, but I'm glad that things seem to've settled down a bit after that.

In John Irving's The World According to Garp, the title character bought a house right after a plane crashed into it, because it was pre-disastered! Now that you gotten that out of the way, you can move on without worrying about blue ice, garbage trucks or llamas.

Sounds like a sucky day. I had kind of a crappy moment today. I went to check on an application that I'd put in for a job at gas station and not only was the position filled but the ATM was out of order AND somewhere between parking and going back to my car my keys fell off the face of the planet. Luckily a family friend was working behind the counter and offered to drive me home to get my spare keys. *phew* It could have been worse. LOL At least Amelia didn't fall into any canals, right?
