Jack's clothes, on the other hand, are strewn all over the place, and every ( Read more... )

Archie, why are you wearing Jack's clothes?

[ not only did she once drag the pirate shopping, but she's known him too long not to become at the very least passingly familiar with his wardrobe. ]

[He glances around in a bit of a panic, hoping the pirate isn't around somewhere. In fact, if Dawn is around, that would also be bad, because he spent the week hoping Dawn wouldn't find out he'd turned into an ugly, seven-inch-tall faerie.]

Er. Can I explain somewhere else?

[Giles is sitting in the shade under a tree by the plaza, flipping through a book and enjoying the fact that he has his sight back. He happens to look up just in time to see Kennedy scurrying across the plaza.]

Kennedy, is everything all...

...good lord, what are you wearing? [Because that is an ugly shirt. He thought you were better than that, Archie.]

[Three hundred people in this village and he had to run into one of the ones he knew.]

Everything's fine, Mr. Giles.

[Everything is not fine.]

If that's the best you could get from whoever you stayed the week with, I hope you left it a mess.

Spoiled milk everywhere, I'm afraid. Although it wasn't altogether unpleasant--he did very well for someone who clearly knew nothing about how to treat a faerie. How did you know it was me?

[At least, he doesn't recall revealing his identity as a tiny goblin. He'd been avoiding that.]

[You know hanging out at Seventh Heaven is far less effective when you don't have a head. Masaomi's actually here to troll for girls, but seeing as how he's at a table, headless, right next to Archie... he might attract attention. an odd black smoke is coming out of the neck where the head should be. But mostly he's just sitting here, lurking. Looking for people.

Chilling.]

[Archie glances toward him, genuinely disturbed. His food is here, but he's having a hard time eating with a headless guy(?) sitting nearby, so he asks a waitress to bring him a box to carry it home in.]

[...Oh, that's Kennedy, who helps Mikado, right? Masaomi pulls out the PDA and types on it a bit. It takes a while, but eventually he leans his upper body over to hold out the PDA to be read-]

Good afternoon, Kennedy-san.

[Oh. Well. The terrifying headless monster is polite, at least.]

Good afternoon. Do we know each other, sir?
