It's 10 o'clock.

My thermometer thingy on the outside wall thinks it's almost 30C.

In England.

England.

Damn you, global warming!

*checks her handy F/C converter*

Is 34C here currently, but the beauty of the desert is that it'll drop to about 17C tonight. Sadly, 'tis the coolest day we've had here in about a month. Was at 38 yesterday.

Apparently 29C is the average here. Or so they say. I haven't seen that since May, so I think that's an estimate from a LONG time ago.

Is 29C the year average or just the summer average?

The summer average. Winter's like...5-7C average, or so, during the day, -1-1C at night.

We sort of blew through spring...

Oh, good. A year average of 29 would totally suck, 'cause if the winters get ice-chains needed cold, the summers must get omgcarmeltingintomeltyroad hot.

But:

At least you're not in southern American where we rang from freakishly hot to hell fire hot. And if the heat doesn't kill you, the humidity will.

No, I live in a country where it can be both unbelievably freezing and unbearably hot in the same day. Hooray for England!

Aw, poor you! I hate to be hot.

*Gives you a hot coffee (because drinking a hot drink cools you off)*

*Also gives you a legion of beauties with big peacock and ostrich feather fans to cool you off and wait upon your every need, because honestly, that is much better than a cup of coffee*

The underground apparently hit 47 degrees yesterday...

Seriously, when is this heat going to break? I'm British! Where's my crappy, rainy summer?! I can't cope, I need a decent sleep :/
