Kankuro almost wanted to smirk when he saw his team, adorned uncomfortably in the attire of his home country, but he witheld the urge. He felt completely at ease in the clothing neccesary to survive in the harsh deser, even with the large summoning scrolls for his puppets attatched to his back.
Suna-nin had VERY strong backs.
He nodded a greeting towards the Uchiha prodigy and the Hyuuga heiress, recognizing with a slight start (he hadn't thought about it until he saw them standing together) their similarities, in techniques and social standing. In comparison, he was set apart. But no matter. Once they reached the Wind Country, it would be his knowledge of the terrain that would prove advantageous to the whole cell.
Containing his excitement to get started, he glanced towards his team, silently signaling that he was ready.

Sasuke glanced at Kankurou as he approached, inclining his head in the barest of tilts of acknowledgement. "The meeting point for departure is Wind-Fire border town of Tonoyama, a couple hours' run northeast of here," he began. "We should reach Tonoyama around early evening at which point we'll meet up with the caravan, then depart for Mizutaka in the morning."
He widened his stance. "I expect us to reach Tonoyama at latest sunset." Early but not too early an arrival would impress the clients, and the running would also help Sasuke to focus more on the mission.
