Ouch. I had no idea the movie would get to you guys that badly. I am more than floored that Paco was totally over it and didn't even bat an eye. What the hell!?
Anyway... Glad the birthday was a hit, and sorry about the movie. =/

don't apologize! it wasn't your fault. i could've easily said no, but i wanted to see. turns out it was more than my little mind could take on and process. it's ok. i'm here and i'm doing just fine. i think the last movie that had this kind of affect on me was silent hill. i just kept seeing singed flesh whenever i shut my eyes. with this, though, it was more like someone was constantly there. kind how you felt after seeing the move, too. that skinny lady was standing behind me and watching... anyway, that's how i felt. it comes with watching a scary movie, that's all.

like i said on saturday, your capacity for gore and horror is much different than the average person's. i'm sure i wouldn't be able to sit through a quarter of what you totally brush off. hell, i had to WALK OUT of the theater after seeing the first 45 minutes of final destination. i couldn't take it (plus, that was NOT a good first-date movie choice...). although, i did laugh when the blonde was hit by the bus. that was rather funny. :P but, i don ( ... )

Yeah, I know I am desensitized to a lot of it. Silent Hill was just a decent monster movie for me, and I actually have the hots for Pyramid Head. I'm a sick man ( ... )

Gengi sounds fun. The skating is iffy. I mean if I fell, I could be flat on my back for God only knows how long. I can see me throwing something out and it really not being a good thing. These are the considerations you have to make when you are old.

It's taken me two days to recover from cleaning the house, and Paco did most of that.... =(

*shudder*
I HATE BUGS!

at my oldddd apartment in LA, we used to have a problem with cleaning our dishes and there were roaches all the time in our kitchen. HATED IT.

and by we, I mean my roommates, cause I am clearly the cleanest person in existence *looks around his living room at the mess of clothes and books...*

I was in NYC this weekend and was sitting in the gym of a school that lets a congregation use the place on Saturdays as a chapel when an ENORMOUS roach crawled through the section. I swear to you the thing was at least two and a half inches long. SOOOO nasty. I tapped the shoulder of the woman in front of me and told her to watch her feet because there was a bug crawling toward her. She immediately lifted them up and it crawled from next to her shoe back towards my direction. Then the woman left the room and her daughter said "she'll meditate a minute and take a xanax and she'll be fine." Which was kind of hilarious. Then my SIL's MIL stomped the shit out of that thing to avoid any more commotion. Naaaasty.
