I believe the Importer tool for Rock Band costs $5 from the PlayStation Network. (It's really an exporter that you run in the original game so that the new game can then import the tracks, or something like that.) Anyway, if you were to, perhaps, borrow a disc from someone else, and then download and install the tool, I don't see why you couldn't then import the old game's tracks into yours.

i think paco mentioned that as being an option. if so, we can borrow their copy and import the songs.

the original rock band has a really good track list, in my opinion.

i love that this post started with "if this were the sims..." because i love comparing real life to sim life :)
