let me just say this before i start talking...9:30am on christmas morning is TOO early for anyone. yes, okay, some people naturally get up early in the morning. can't they just have a piece of toast or something to tide them over to a more manageable time for family to meet and have brunch? anyway, on with my story ( Read more... )

i think it's cuz i'm not used to doing anything christmas-related get-togethers in the morning. you know, outside of just waking up and opening christmas presents with my parents in our pajamas. i've never been a morning person (as a small kid, i was, but not anymore), so getting up early is difficult. getting up early on a day off is even worse.
