No one from the original will be in 28 Weeks. From what I can tell from the trailers (I haven't even gone tot he IMDB page yet! Trying to stay as UNknowing as I can) one of the leads is the main guy from The Full Monty. And the only story points I know is that the Rage has been confined and almost eradicated when it gets out into the general populace again.

And of course there IS a comic that goes from the original into the sequel, because that's how ALL the cool kids are doing it these days. I haven't even read it yet...
