I dont think you should give up on love or romance, by doing that you could miss out on something or someone great in your life. You dont want to end up a little lonely old woman with 15 cats, hahaha. I think your just hurt right now and thats why your at the "numbing" point. i think just take a little time for yourself and just relax. Everything will get better for you, i know it will. Sorry my advice sucks but i try and if you ever want to talk to just vent or something im there for ya!! :-)
