And it has to thaw sometime, right?

Right?

Actually, it's starting to warm up already. I'm sure we'll be complaining of the heat in no time. ;-)

Holy crud, I'm sorry you had such a horrible day! *hugs*

I was going to call you last night to ask if you'd seen the Marcon schedule, but I didn't get home until after 8, then I had crap I had to do, and bam, it got too late for polite calling time.

BTW, I checked the schedule and saw that I'm only on one panel so far. I emailed the person in charge to see if I was still a comped panelist; she ensured me that the full schedule was not yet up, and I would indeed be on my requisite 3 panels. BTW, the one I'm on so far is "Beyond Harry Potter"; we'll be discussing other YA fantasy options for those who have finished the series. So far, I know I want to talk about the Dark is Rising Series, His Dark Materials, and Isabel Allende. If you have any other ideas for good YA fantasy series, I'd love to discuss them.

Take care, and I hope today finds you more restful and happy.

I'm fond of the Artemis Fowl books by Eoin Colfer.

April snow is my fault. I wished for it. Only for a little, with no ice. I thought it would look pretty with the flowers in bloom to have it a little cold with a little snow on the grass. So, it's my fault. I wished for it. You know the women in my family are weather inclined. grins sheepishly.

Hoping the rest of your week goes better. BTW I really really hate snarky secretaries. My sympathies. Shall I blow up her desk or something useful? Just kidding.

No, she's actually been very helpful since then. I blame the insane security measures of the university.
