Hahahahahaha! I loved it! That was perfect. The last line was priceless. The way you wove the song into the fic, and changed it to fit our boys was wonderful.

Clark made a small strangled sound as Lex's claims on his mouth grew deeper. Hmm, what to say, what to say...oh yeah, Guh! That whole bit around the kiss was delicious, just like Clark's mouth (I can only assume, damn it).

I'll wait as patiently as possible for the others you've promised. For someone not crazy about Christmas, you're certainly doing a lot of giving this season. *g*

Glad to have made you laugh :) I was actually trying to rev up what crumbs of Christmas spirit lie deep in my cranky soul, so I put on my Christmas playlist, this song came up and ... the rest is history.

I've got something for every day this week, I think :) Watch this space.

a Clark instant. Lex blinked - he never would get completely used to that I love that. No secrets between them and knowing doesn't remove the element of surprise all the time.

And oh, Lex. "Let them talk. You're safe; that's all I care about." Someone is sneaky and secretive, but that is not a secret that would stay secret long.

And the last line? Is wonderful.

The thing about both Clark and Lex that just gets me every time? They both think they're so smooth, but they are both really crappy liars.

That last line was where it all started :) It was almost the title too, but in the end I couldn't make myself do it - it's the sort of trick you can only pull once.

they are both really crappy liars. They really, really are. Oh, boys.

I'm kind of glad you went the more traditional route, since I think making the last line the title would have ruined the effect in this case.

Clark needs to learn to take a break on days like this! I think Lex is the only one who's persistent enough to make him see sense.

I think Lex is so persistent because deep down Clark knows he wants to be persuaded ;-)

Lex pulled him back inexorably. "But baby, it's radioactive outside."

LMAO. Best last line. And how could Clark want to go outside when he has Lex seducing him to stay? Love the way you wove the song throughout the fic. Can't wait to read more :D.

Yay, so glad you laughed! This was so much fun to write. We all know how devoted Clark is to his work - but if there's something that could persuade him to pass, I'd like to think it's Lex :)

This was great!!

I love Lex’s determination and willpower in keeping Clark there with him. Sex would do it for me that's for sure. I giggled at the Lana comment! And the ending was priceless!

I really enjoyed this!
