I can't adequately describe how many of my buttons you managed to hit all at once. At first, I wasn't sure where you were going with the embittered silence on the walk back to Annie's apartment, but it was a good lead up to their confrontation.

Also, this was a great rush of thoughts to me:

Thanks! The trip home was tricky for me, because I a) needed to get them home quickly so the anger/frustration/boozy disinhibition didn't mellow too much, b) without Jeff driving (no drunk driving, people!) or c)without contriving a ridiculous reason for him to join her in a cab. Luckily, the ep wasn't too specific about how close Annie's place was to the bar, so I didn't have to defy canon! Well, except for the sexy bits.
