*nostalgic sigh* I love it....

For those of you that didn't know, Beauty & The Beast is my favorite Disney movie. And it's not available to purchase until like 2011 (or later?). *grumble*stupid-Disney-Vault*grumble*

I'd like to note that The Little Mermaid is a close second for me... But it doesn't QUITE hit the high note that B&TB did for me ( Read more... )

Only the first one showed up for me. That's ok though. Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorites too.

The Little Mermaid has very special meaning to me, so I love the film and it is, bar-none, my favourite Disney movie. It was the first movie that I ever saw in theatres; my Dad took me when I was four. When I was sixteen, my friend in Sweden sent me a copy of Den Lilla Sjöjungfrun (lit: The Little Seamaiden") and I loved it even more-even if the Swedish copy didn't have subtitles. Ariel was voiced by Norwegian singer/actress Sissel in Sweden and Norwegian.

That's really cool! :-) Beauty & the Beast was the first movie I saw in the theaters. It was a good memory for me as well.

I'm glad you liked it. I enjoy looking at children's films from time to time. And usually Disney ones have info and stories that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. :-)

I think I was in elementary school when Beauty and the Beast came out and from what I remember I had a "thang" for the beast, which in retrospect is a bit disturbing.
