It's RAINING in my office!!! wowzers... WE had a mini-rainstorm here for a while... They were doing "something" with flushing the water pipes and the ceiling in our office started leaking -quite drastically!! Two ceiling tiles fell as a result of the water.... and the floor is a mess. A computer got wet and may be ruined.... But it wasn't the one ( Read more... )

LOL... i work in a university's registrar's office. It's not as wonderful as it might sound -at least not ALL the time. I usually get the "grunt-jobs" that no one else wants to do. & when there isn't much to do it's rather boring!

But overall i can't complain. I love the laid-back atmosphere and the fact that i'm not dealing with retail and customers ALL DAY LONG!!!!

I think everyone got through the incident unscathed -well, everyone/everything BUT the ceiling tiles and the computer that was on the desk under where the water poured down!

It was rather crazy, though!

How was YOUR day!?!?

It was a really slow day. I got a lot done. I did payroll this afternoon so I don't have to do it tomorrow. That will free me up to spend the afternoon with Darren if he gets home in time.

I went over invoices and balanced them with inventory, authorized electronic fund transfers to pay for stuff, ordered stuff we were getting low on, and just sat around talking to Dad a good part of the day.

UH, LOL. I waiting to hear about your trip last week.

Hello. You don't know me, and well, I don't know you either. However, I am in the LJ community virginized. A user there named Raven55 has been annoying the hell out of us all with his inane comments for quite a while now, so I figured I'd read his insane writings/quotes on his journal.

And I noticed something. Despite him and all of his 'friends' being adults, they acted very childish and hypocritical towards you as well. I don't know the full situation, and it's probably in the past for you (well I hope you've moved on, he's not worth anyone's time.) However, I would just like to say that he IS wrong for treating you so rudely. It is ALSO wrong for him to spread the word of christianity.. to some. His friends, and himself seem to be void from the rules. The whole "nyeh nyeh nyeh" thing is vulgar on his behalf. On behalf of the virginized community and myself, thank you for attempting to put some common sense into him. It just doesn't work though. =(

Raven55 has bothered me (and friends of mine on here) for a loooong time. I'm pretty much used to him. I just got really mad when he spread rumors about me... he used me as an "example" of a bad Christian. Anyway... he's not worth the time it takes to argue with him because he NEVER listens! I've gone around and around in circles with him and my husband has as well.

Honestly, i'm surprised you guys haven't banned him yet. A lot of communities have.... & i really can't blame them. He refuses to discuss things and instead just repeats his points over and over again!

The whole "nyeh nyeh nyeh" thing is vulgar on his behalf -I'm not sure exactly what you're talking about... Or maybe i just don't know what you mean by this!?!

ANyway... thanks for commenting. I know i'm not alone... but thanks! I may actually check out virginized to encourage people! (my hubby & i waited till marriage to have sex) & i was a virgin when i got married! :-)

Well... That's all...

By the Nyeh nyeh nyeh part, I meant he's immature in the sense that "Nyeh Nyeh Nyeh I'm a better christian than you are! Jesus loves ME more!" Which is a bullshit attitude. Sorry, I should of clarified.

I now have ajcookiewannabe posting all over in my journal now, but I'll just end up deleting whatever comments she has to say about me. She can't rebuttle with an intelligent comment to save her soul.

I don't think the virginized community master is exactly aware of how much he angers everyone. He seriously goes out of his way to make people feel un-welcome unless they believe EXACTLY as he does. He'll tell people they're sinners/whores just so people argue with him. Aboev all else, he just wants the attention that clearly no one in real lief is willing to give him.

And yes, you should join. =) You don't have to be a virgin in order to be in the community, there are plenty of married couples who waited until marriage who are on the community. =) I like your icons by the way. And thanks for replying!
