This set for this month's challenge at 20inspirations is pretty far outside my normal style. The theme this month asked us to think outside of the box and push the limits of cropping, coloring, composition, and other tools at an iconmaker's disposal. Generally with this kind of theme, I'm not sure what's weird in a good way or weird in an ugly way so some of these might fall into the negative category for you and that's okay. I had a lot of fun working on these so even if the result is just okay, the experience is a good one. In this set, I've used a lot more obvious texture than I typically do and I tried to do the opposite of what I instinctively do when it comes to cropping, coloring, sharpening, and/or contrast. When I got to a point where I might usually stop, I pushed a bit further. Even the simpler icons feature cropping, coloring, or level of sharpness that I would never use outside of this prompt. I'm anxious to hear what people think of these!
