Oh my God. Those Anna Karenina icons. I am dead. I love that movie SO MUCH and I literally saved every icon. Also #18. ^_^

Your cropping is always stellar, but you've truly outdone yourself in this batch. The Anna Karenina icons, in particular, has such atmosphere to them even in instances where you've cropped out most of the subject and/or let space dominate. 2, 9, and 14 (!!!) are definitely my favorites there. I also love how bright the coloring is in these; kind of cold and icy as well in most of them. It's really lovely.

And 18, of course, is a freaking masterpiece. The coloring is stupendous!

♥ Thank you so much! I really enjoyed making the Anna Karenina icons. I only intended to make 7 or so for the7days but ended up enjoying it so much that I had a good number of icons to choose from to submit. It's so nice to find a subject that works perfectly for us as icon makers!

The general softness and pastel-nature of your icons is always so incredible, and this post is so incredibly spectacular. I really, really love #9. The extreme negative space crop is just, amazing, and the gentle colours are so incredibly beautiful, the pastel tones work so amazingly here. #18 is WOW as well. Love the contrast in colours here, and the slightly more intense vibrant colours, especially the red tones - they really emphasise the emotion in the icon. #25 is such a beautiful, stunning close crop, and I love the softness and beautiful contrast of light and shadow in #30. I think the sepia brown colours are so gorgeous. The darkness of #32 is so effective and so gorgeous, I love the way the more muted purple kind of projects a Bad Ass feel from the icon. And #47 is gorgeous, the crop is amazing and the colours are gorgeous!
