I broke up with Karin & Negi, which set Negi off yesterday...he nearly killed Doom, not to mention us...! Karin managed to save us, and I couldn't even do anything to help, except land one punch...!

Anyone else could've done that...!

Not everyone in this world has magic Dawn. Just look at my Mom and Dad, for starters. Someone can have all the magic powers in the world, and it'll mean NOTHING unless they have the resolve to do what needs to be done.

...But how else am I gonna get stronger?! I haven't trained enough with the magic I've got under the Pactio, the only other person who could help train me is in intensive care, and I was only able to land one decent punch yesterday!

No one else would notice I was gone, and I'd come back for my job at the restaurant...
