this should remove it. All the network interface promises those cyberpunk novels made are finally coming to pass.

As I mentioned in my post - as soon as they start overlaying it by projecting it into my spiffy mirrored shades instead of out onto the world around me, I'll find it much more useful.

Especially since that means it'll become more usable. Like being able to use it on giant landmarks instead of just rolls of toilet paper and friends.

Something that does interest me, though, is the thought of having a sheet of notebook paper - and using google by writing the search terms across the paper, and the glasses overlay onto the paper underneath the search results.

The innovative part is the software. We've had videoscreen-capable glasses for ages now, as well as ones that have an integrated video camera. Integrate the recognition and parsing software with the existing video-display-and-camera glasses, and your netrunner mirror shades will be a reality.

Very clever, especially since it uses existing tech. I can see it having certain uses for sure.

At the same time, I'm not really interested right now in getting one. It might be because I don't have the obsession with seamless on-demand information that others do, especially since many of the apps for this were consumerist based. Even moreso, my approach to being 'connected' is too casual to get a real rise out of this level of integration.
