That last little bit was just great. You have a very nice writing style and a pretty darned good Cox voice, and the whole premise - Cox sleeping in JD's bed? Fo' realz?! - is so crazy it works.

Two minor spelling errors: "He hadn't bought" - brought, and "He gave the bed an especially had shake" - hard. Otherwise, going off to read the other two chapters.
