The Time of My Life

So far, I´ve been back in Madrid for about two months now and much has happened since then. Started a new job, got back in touch with friends, turned a year older, and all that jazz. It´s amazing how hard it is to readjust to working after spending two months not working, but I think I´m finally there. The new school is all right, much different ( Read more... )

i will say:
1) no matter how cool a place is once you've adapted the novelty wears off and, it becomes not much different than your town.
2) it is annoying when people don't realize you're making money, even if the money is shit, and think you're overly privileged to be doing what you're doing, even though they could do as well if they weren't so scared of living.
3) i hate when you come back and you're like depressed as fuck to be in america (ok not you but me) and everyone who is not actually your friend is like, "how was france?" "how was spain?" and you're like, um good. what? like how am i supposed to define all the complete insanity that is europe in a word.
i had a reverse experience though, i went clubbing and on trips every weekend during my 2 years in europe, not during study abroad. ha!
but i also wasn't working 9-5. how are you working 9-5? you're not doing the same job as last year?
