Stolen from some random journal while browsing friend's friends. And yes, my songs are weird. That will make it more fun.
Here are lines from the first 20 songs that pop up on my playlist. The challenge: write drabbles inspired by any line of your choice! :D

“That was so much fun,” she says, taking a sip from the soda cup in her hand.
“Told you midnight bowling was the greatest,” I say, leaning back in the seat to look at her. I love having a convertible. A pretty girl, a starry night, sitting at the In and Out Burger at half past two, sitting with the top down after spending two hours in a bowling alley. And we have work in the morning, and neither of us really care, because we’re sitting here in comfortable silence watching the moon and listening to the wind rush by.

"Come on, you promised!" Yayoi was about to pull Kei's arm out of its socket.
He just shook his head. What had possessed him to agree to this anyway? The Knight of Light did not dance. Ever.
Yet when Yayoi had suggested it with that sparkle in her eyes, he couldn’t help but agree. How did she do that? He sighed and rested a hand on her elbow. “Yes, let’s go ( ... )

All things considered, the Night Watch was a good job for a troll. Detritus got to use an interesting variety of implements. He got to be in the middle of things. He was good at getting in the middle of things. And trolls were just plain better off working the night shift.
Things had been rough for the past few weeks though. Someone new had taken charge of the Day Watch. Detritus didn’t know the new guy’s name, but he knew he was very, very lazy. Didn’t like the whole idea of the day shift starting at dawn. He thought the best solution was for the Night Watch to pick up the slack. This was supposed to be the first extended night.
Commander Vimes had sent Detritus to patrol near the new Day Captain’s home. They would see how he liked it when the night was over and the morning came.
And just what trolls meant when they said the stupid sun come out.
