Hmmm... i've been considering on and off a name change for the past year or so?

I like 'nomorefrostbite' (an homage to that Helen/John scene "You have frostbite!"//"Certainly no reflection on your hospitality") but I am as perpetually indecisive as ever and need Livejournal's advice

NOMOREFROSTBITE IS BASICALLY OBNOXIOUSLY GENIUS, THANKS. I'd have voted for that even if it didn't have the Helen/John story behind it, but with that? OHMYGAWD.

Not a weirdo. I love the symbolics on changing things like that. You know how recently divorced women usually change their hairstyle and basically reborn? I guess an eljayer does the same, except with her journal. And it's good.

ZOMFG WOMAN. I created a private rpg comm the other day, and because the name I wanted to use was a purged account, I had to name it something else then use a rename token to rename once it was made.

Anyhow. I originally named it nomorefrostbite, but then renamed.

And I just tried to rename token my own lj and it was like "BITCH, NOMOREFROSTBITE IS IN USE, YO"... but it isn't in use... it's the old gotten rid of name of a different community I myself created.

So like.

Wtf.

I put in a LJ HELPPPPPP request about it because I need that goddamn name to be available to me asap.

ALSO. I've wanted to ask you this for ages but have never got around to it - is your username a Dune homage? Or am I just reading too much into it...
