MY LOVELIES. I did ADIML in Barcelona. I caught the tail-end of my mother's stomach virus and am fairly desperate to entertain myself/find out what you all think. Check it!

Well I WAS going to go to Barcelona the planet, but then some fricken idiots voted New Labour, Tony Blair got into power, then was replaced by Gordon Brown, and now the Pound is worth less than the Euro for the first time in history so I couldn't AFFORD it... and had to make do with the City :(

Oh my God, so very jealous. I've never been to Barcelona but it's one of the top destinations to my to-do list ;). The weather seemed fabulous, too. You seem to do city trips like I do: involving lots of historic churches and cappucinos *g*.

(People who get offended by Fawlty Towers sketches clearly have no sense of humor. Clearly. ;)

And hey! I bought Hector Kipling as a birthday present for a friend of mine - I'm hoping she'll lend it to me afterwards ;). I haven't read it yet, but I'm sure that it can't possibly be bad ♥.

Barcelona is no Rome or Venice, but it's still pretty bloody good!!
I'm a total city tripper - I can't stand holidays which don't involve cities and cappucinos and churches and galleries and as many funicular trips up large mountains as possible.

Hector Kipling is VERY cool!! It's totally different to most other prose books, and it's very intense, but it's hilarious and sad at times and just amazingness. Plus Thewlis is hot ;)
