[Video clicks on, coinciding with a sharp sound of surprise.  The view tilts up and up--- there's the edge of the lake, and something like the hilt of a sword sinking into its depths, a glimpse of Riful's face, moon-pale and eyes wide with shock, and then the feed blurs as the communicator tumbles back down again, hitting the gray dirt and bouncing
