Looking back on my week...
At the end of this fine Friday I have contemplated my week and realized it wasn't really that great in several ways, mostly relating to work. Because there are plenty of no-biology friends out there, I will omit gory details. Suffice it to say, I suspect one experiment didn't work (I'll have to think about what went wrong), another maybe worked

Cavity...ick. I got like three in one visit, sometime during grad school. Actually, given the generally sterling condition of my teeth, I sometimes wonder if the dentist wasn't making this up (in retrospect). I went to different ones each time while in grad school, to take advantage of the special offers for new customers. (Hey, I was trying to live on 16K/year in a place and time where 1 BR apartments often went for 1200/month.) Or maybe studying for quals did in three teeth. ;)
