So for those who aren’t local, the DC Metro has just instituted a system of random bag checks at Metro stations. They won’t be announced in advance, and while you have the right to refuse, if you do you will be denied access to the system. Checks will be conducted randomly at one station at a time

Umm ... wow, about everything. So, if you come up with a well worded letter that I can send with my name, I'd like to join you in your campaign. That's about as much as I'm willing to do at the moment, unless there is anything else you can think of that isn't too overwhelming for me. But this random check crap is ridiculous, and I agree with you on the privacy issue. Also I agree, and yet am still amazed about the stats on terrorism. I truly am more afraid, like you, of driving than running into a terrorist. Not to mention, please don't freak out, I fall asleep in the tub 90% of the time I get in.
