Amazon's reply

Apr 13, 2009 08:55

Well, for those of you who saw my rant yesterday, here was the reply to my letter. And note the tag at the end of the response. I can see how they are all about the customers, can't you? As long as their customers are idiots and really think this was a computer glitch.

What total BS... )

I saw that on the Publisher's Weekly article. That's a quite specific glitch :P

That's not much a response, is it? I love the click yes or no. What makes me so angry is the very idea that they were trying to make their search results and rankings "family friendly" in the first place. I absolutely detest this kind of censorship that affects everyone all in the name of making things safe for the kiddies. We must all be pretty stupid and immature if we need to have everything safeguarded for us.

I do thank you for writing about it tho. It was the first I'd seen anything of it, and now that I've gotten all caught up I'm even more certain that I won't be giving them any of my money.

uh huuuuh, suuuuure, a glitch, thats what it is. I certainly hope you told them that no, it didn't help answer your "question" good grief, how dim do they think you are, you didn't ask a question, and, they hope to see you again, and it was fairly obvious in your letter that they wouldn't. *head desk*

Typical corporate damage control tactic: admit no guilt and bullshit like there's no tomorrow.
