This is a really wonderful fic! I think you've caught a really beautiful part of Lee/Kara/Zak's past in that little video and elucidated the intensity of the loss Lee feels.

I also love how you've described Lee's intense sadness that his relationship with Kara was always pressured by the situation - the hard, fast, desperate nature of it all. Contrasted with Zak & Kara's lucious lovemaking... it really works!
