Thanks! And yep, it's a great story. I haven't seen many BtVS/Trek crossovers that actually engage with the Star Trek history like that. I have the rest of the author's stuff bookmarked for later investigation.

Some very good Lois and Clark fic, including an excellent BtVS crossover where Lois becomes a Slayer but doesn't know what's happening immediately after Sunnydale, and possibly the best take I've seen on what would happen if Superman suddenly appeared in the real(ish) post 9-11 USA.
