i like that. sort of combines what each of them said--yeah, she got him cheap, but she also gave him everything he asked for (not much!)

and the end is sweet, too.

not sure about the sweetness of the House/Cuddy... but it's there anyway. House and Cuddy are almost as interesting as House and Stacy. The only difference is that he doesn't change around Cuddy. Hmm.. Thanks for stopping by and reviewing!

I like the banter here, and I can see this scene panning out exactly this way. A nice fill in the cracks bit.

I'm enjoying this series. Keep 'em coming!

yes... cracks in canon are evil and must be filled whenever possible! I like writing this-but I seem to be having a bit of a hiatus from it. More coming... sooner or later? Thanks for reviewing :)

I really enjoyed this chapter. Love the way Cuddy was so aloof and made House wait. House playing with Cuddy's knick-knacks was so House. Such good House dialog as well. Loved this line “I can sign all your little forms and get my doctor to witness them, as long as you give me a nice parking space.” Loved the whole Cuddy touching House's thigh and the fact they wound up together. This line says it all “Where are you going?” He slurs from where his face is pressed to the pillow. He’s satisfied, exhausted. So few words but so descriptive. I truly know the feeling. It made me smile. Thanks!

Another fine chapter! Your writing is so clear and true to character that it is always a pleasure to read a new chapter. I was more than a bit surprised by the sex here, but as I thought more about it, I decided that this was at least in part the point: that House was surprised to find Cuddy available to him, that both (temporarily) found everything they needed that night, and that this suddenness is the source of much understandable confusion and hesitancy on their parts going forward. Don't know if this complexity is what you meant to convey, but this is what I took away from this awesome chapter.
