1) how should i dress to see these guys at this place (an opera hall, ostensibly) on my birthday?

addendum: would it be better to do something like nice fitted jeans with a collared shirt, sweater (optional with this outfit), and jacket, or go with a nicer pant/t-shirt?

2) any suggestions on how to get a camera in?

no, not really. you should wear the fancy jacket though. and underneath it, a shirt that says, "BIRTHDAY BOY".

I used to sneak cameras into shows by putting a camera in my sock (because even if they pat you down, they rarely pat you ALL the way down). But Id recommend a disposable camera..in case they find it and take it away.

wear a suit. with tails. you'll feel out of place but you can have the satisfaction of knowing you look classier than everyone else.

pack it next to mr. happy a la that guy (wesley snipes?) in that movie with geena davis. ain't no way they'll be patting you there.

disposable camera is good and bad; good: it's cheap; bad: you probably can't turn off the flash, resulting in it being taken away mid-show or (unlikely) your being asked to leave.
