Heath, Johnny, and Angelina
So, I have heard a few interesting rumors that I thought I'd get some opinions on.
First, apparently Heath Ledger has stated that he would never reprise a role because he wants to continually move forward and grow as an actor. This means one of three things: 1- Nolan was not planning on having Joker return for another movie. 2- Nolan was already planning on re-casting before Heath died. 3- Nolan was planning on begging Heath to do a sequel.
Second, I've heard that they're looking at Johnny Depp to do the Riddler in the next movie.
Third, I've also heard they're looking at Angelina Jolie to do Catwoman in the next movie.
Both are amazing actors, so I think they'd do a good job, but I don't want it to become a movie filled with A-list actors just to have them in there, so I admit I'm kind-of concerned about that. However, I was also concerned that Heath wouldn't do a good job, and he was phenomenal, so I'm thinking Nolan knows what he's doing at this point, and we should just trust him to continue making amazing movies.
What do you all think? Does anyone know if any of this is true?
