Obama gave a speech today at Dobson High School, just a couple of blocks from my house in Mesa, Arizona

That must have been so exciting.

It really was exciting. Arizona is very Republican, McCain's home state, so we almost never see national Democrats.

When someone told me that he was coming here, I didn't even believe them. Arizona has had a huge drop in the real estate market, one of the top three worst in the nation, and this speech was about the mortgage problem so I suppose that's one of the reasons Arizona was chosen.

Still, to pick my neighborhood is unbelievable.
