Dementors are Creepy!

Normally I get all my meta for a situation out in the act of ficcing, but in this case I finished writing the fic ( Rebirth), and it only ended up addressing one aspect of the train of thought that I’d had.

And now they do me too. I wish we'd get that textbook on Dementors they used to say Rowling was writing when she wasn't working on the series, a few years ago. I want to know.

I hadn't heard about the textbook on Dementors, though that would have been pretty awesome. (I am, however, pretty excited about the encyclopedia she's supposed to eventually write.) On some levels I'm not sure she actually did work out all the implications of Dementor. But they are scary as hell.
