Wow! That is absolutely terrifying. I liked it. Mostly because it so could have happened. Good job on this.

I'm glad that the premise was plausible! Voldemort could wreak a lot of havoc with the amount of power and prestige Harry is given. Thank you!

This is one of the most brilliant things that I've read in a long while. It's the sort of ending I wish we'd got in the book, and it's such a clever way to get there, Harry's soul being sucked out of him and all that's left being the Horcrux. Thanks for the great read! :)

*blushes* Thank you! I do have a penchant for unhappy endings, and I had a lot of fun spinning out this scenario from a thought I had about the effects of a Dementor on a Horcrux. I'm really glad that you enjoyed it!! ♥

Ah, excellent. Harry!Voldemort would definitely attempt to kill his other self, eliminate the competition. It's interesting metaphorically, isn't it? Harry without a soul is Voldemort. And yes, a much more realistic take on the Ministry and recontruction than JKR's freaky little utopian happyland where all the prejudice goes away and 17 year olds are put in charge of bureaucracy lalala. Heh.

It's questions like these that make me glad fandom is here: the implications of Harry being a Horcrux- of having Voldemort's soul within him - are very creepy, especially how little that was addressed in canon. And Voldemort could have wreaked all sorts of chaos, given the same power and devotion that Harry himself does. Thanks for reading! :)

The Kiss, bizarrely, reminded him of Ginny and a sunlit room and laughter and the sensation of flying and being surrounded by his friends (a sickening flash: what will they do, he can’t fail, he can’t), before his stomach dropped and everything went dark.

Harry saw no more.

Oh, you. Oh, man. It's almost unbearable to think of this - not the story, but to be in that world, and to be him, and to feel it. And to have Lord Voldemort win, in Harry's shame. Continuing his reign, for the greater good.

I'm glad this creeps you out, too. Harry's status as a Horcrux has so many terrifying possibilities, and Voldemort using Harry's form to conquer the world, really... The magical world has so much horrific possibility about it. Thank you!

How horribly creepy! I loved it.

I've often wondered what would happen in a scenario like this, say if the bit of Tom in the diary succeeded in becoming fully formed. I think you did an excellent job of it. I like how he thinks "any of the others, given the chance, would do the same".

The structure is very nice too.

The most fascinating aspect of Tom's soul-bits taking form to me is how each one would be different, having been made at a different point of his life. So much possibility! I'm glad this scenario worked. I can't imagine that any part of Voldemort would accept such competition existing. :)

Thank you so much! ♥
