1. *grins at the Cabal* Ladies, you all EARNED your Slytherin badges this April Fools'. As I kept telling Pud - y'all are EVIL and I madly adore you for it. :D

*grins* Well, I wouldn't be adverse to trading drabbles (I'm always happy with anything Steph) but feel no obligation. I like writing things for people. :)
Cheap Thrills
Stephanie’s snuck out plenty before, but this is the first time her skirt’s been short enough and her lipstick bright enough to actually get *into* the club where the punk band’s playing.
She dances wildly, thankful she isn’t home (her dad’s out of prison again) when she slams into boy -all muscle and shadowed eyes - who doesn’t give an inch and who smiles invitingly at her.
They dance - he can move - and share a table in the shadows where the music pounds like a death rattle instead of a murder. He offers her a smoke but she takes a neck rub (amazing, she sighs) instead.
His accent is like her dad’s friends, but his smile isn’t.
His hand is warm around hers, makes her feel safe in the dark he’s completely comfortable in, and she just laughs when his other hand strokes at her skirt.
I definitely don't feel any obligation--you're awesome and I totally get the stretching-writing-muscles thing. Mmm, I should do this in a week or so when I'm not insane-o crunch time. Good idea!
Onto the brain killing!
GAH. I love this. Understatement, but I'm also just PURRING at the screen and resisting to LICK it right now. You kill off brain cells.
all muscle and shadowed eyes
I love this for the mental image and tactile memory it gives me of bigger bodies and muscles and the way it feels to be bracketed in by someone like that--thrilling and intimidating and sometimes a total turn-on.

Oh, I totally love this line. Glorious.
makes her feel safe in the dark he’s completely comfortable inAnd this one. And I love that this comment of hers is immediately followed by her laughing as he gropes her. She likes feeling safe and doesn't mind admitting it but isn't intensely intimidated, either. Super-love

Yay! I think writing request-drabbles is a blast. :D
And also, your comments make me so VERY happy. ♥
I'm glad that Steph and Jay worked like this (I had a bit of trouble, originally, trying to write them but then this idea struck me) because it just makes so much sense in my head that their paths would have crossed.
Oh, good, the dancing *worked*. I can't get past the idea that no matter what they'd be hot like burning together. *beams* I like the idea of Steph feeling safe with Robin, even if she doesn't quite know that's who she's with.

She never learns his name.
