...soo out of all the vampire franchises, which is worth looking into? Twilight? (I think the vampire looks like a caveman and the werewolf looks like a monkey..though it may be my fondness of asian boybands that curb my tastes) True Blood? or The Vampire Diaries? Or should I get back into Vampire Knight. Maybe reread Interview with a Vampire? or

I love The Vampire Diaries as novels though I can't comment on the TV show as I haven't seen any of it yet. Interview With The Vampire and the sequals are a lot of fun though I really disliked the third and fifth books. The rest are pretty cool though.
I found Dracula to be really boring and hard to read and even though I really wanted to finish it I couldn't make myself contiue to read past the halfway point.
You should also check out Freda Warrington's vampire novels starting with A Taste Of Blood Wine as they are awesome vampire novels.
