Writing Group #1, Steampunk #16

So I had my first writing group meeting last night. It currently consists of myself and a co-worker from my day job who I also regularly game with. We decided to meet for a writing group on the odd Thursday that the game we both play in doesn't meet. Yesterday we almost didn't meet because the game almost made. As it is, he'll be out of town next

Thanks! I hope it does too. The primary idea is that if someone else is meeting me to do writing, then I'm guaranteed to set aside some amount of time to do some writing, since I rarely break appointments with people but I'm more willing to not do something when I'm alone.

Definitely, I find the same. It's sooo easy to not do something when nothing is waiting for it. ;) I keep wanting to start something similar for artsy things - every two weeks or once a month or something, get together and make stuff or at the very least, get feedback on stuff we've made. I think it'd help me a lot. So beat me when I get back from Ontario and remind me to start it. :)
